The United Way of Alberta Northwest is pleased to announce that nominations for the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medals are now open.

This year we have the honor of presenting Platinum Jubilee Awards to residents of the Peace Region who have demonstrated a commitment to strengthening our community and improving the lives of their neighbours.

These Awards will pay tribute to residents of all ages and backgrounds who embody the qualities of selflessness, dedication, service to others and a commitment for bettering our community.

If you have a friend, relative, co-worker, fellow volunteer or neighbour who has performed exceptional voluntary service, please nominate that individual today. 

Her late Majesty was a dedicated sovereign who helped shape our history during her 70 years on the throne. Her commitment to public service and dignified leadership in uncertain times was an example to us all.
