" Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for a kindness.”

― Seneca
For the fifth year, United Way is managing the Summer Food Service Program in Muscatine. This program provides a free lunch to children under 18 at various sites throughout the community. I know it's hard to imagine, but there are children in our community who go hungry during the summer without a free school meal to eat. With so many in our community qualifying for free or reduced lunch during the school year, these free meals are a real need. If you are interested in volunteering to serve meals, it only takes an hour or so. It's a great way to have a direct positive impact on children in our community. You can give our office a call at 563-263-5963 to find out how you can help.
