FREE Training Opportunity
Wednesday, April 29th - 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Awareness in Action is a 90-minute workshop open to all community members and partners. No prior attendance is required. This experience stands on its own while building on key trauma-informed concepts by deepening self-awareness and helping participants notice their own patterns, stress responses, and what sets them off in real time. Participants will learn simple, in-the-moment reset strategies to regulate, shift tone and presence, and respond with intention instead of reaction. We’ll also apply this to real-life settings, focusing on what you can shift in the moment to reduce conflict and better support the people around you.
This workshop is ideal for anyone in a role where they support, lead, or work closely with others. It's a great fit for those looking to strengthen how they respond and show up in everyday interactions.
To guide participants through this work, the session is led by Katie Francis, an educator and statewide trainer with over a decade of experience supporting schools, nonprofits, and community organizations through research-based, resilience-focused approaches. Katie has trained hundreds of professionals across Idaho and brings a grounded, real-world perspective centered on awareness, application, and meaningful change.
