Dear Partners in Unity and GLR.

Newness is emerging. Love unites us. Spirit sustains us.

The light of God leads us forward.

Upwards of 1100 voting members participated in what became a 91% affirmative vote (925) for the Unity Headquarters acquisition of UWM. 9%(95votes) voted no, and some didn’t or couldn’t vote, yet are equally valued and important.

We want to acknowledge the graciousness that Rev. Roxane Graves displayed as her position as CEO at UWM ended. And to everyone who gave countless hours in meetings, Zooms, and in person appearances, many as they led ministries, including 16 folks that showed up at our GLR Q&A last Monday, THANK YOU!

Many questions persist. Please continue to be involved in co-creating our movement, and our Region. I will lead another Q & A: What’s next Unity? Zoom call on Monday, Nov 20th, 2pm Eastern. Do email if you have questions: president@greatlakesunity.com

Let us continue in a prayerful consciousness: God is our Source and Supply, The Answer to every question. Join us along with our Prayer Chaplain Rev. Peggy Konkel in our November prayer.

Dear Sweet Gentle Spirit,

You are present in the loving voices

that lift our thoughts as we serve.

You are present in the helping hands

we use to aid those in physical need.

You are our thoughts that bring us closer

to connecting with each other in ways

that honor both

our sameness

and how we differ.

You are our support through the resources

 that appear from everywhere.

You are the energy that animates us

when we have work to do.

You are our strength to carry on

when we lose our way or feel heaped with burden.

You are the healing guidance that

moves us onward and upward.

You are us because we are Yours

and for that we are grateful.

Rev. Peggy Konkel, Region Prayer Chaplain,

Humbled and available to serve the Great Lakes Unity Region

and its ministries.

Communication and Information

Until the online portal opens, communication will continue as it has—through discussion at Town Halls and submitting questions through the website. We will continue to communicate openly and create spaces for dialogue and prayer as we move forward. Also, please check and read your email. It will be a frequent means of communication until the online portal is up and running.

The charter that will be the governing document for Unity Communities and Leaders is available on unity.org along with the many questions that have been asked and answered in past months. A Risk Assessment Report has also been added.

If you are currently donating to UWM, please continue as usual until further notice.

Thank you for your faith, your courage, and your unwavering dedication to mission of Unity.

Blessings on our new journey together!
