... Join Rev. Anne for the 2nd in our three-part talk series based on the simple little book by Ken Keyes, Jr., Three Prescriptions for Happiness. In our second installment, we'll take a closer look at what it means to accept whatever happens--for now. Once you memorize this formula, you'll always have it to use whenever you need it! Rev. Anne Tabor
11am
Prescription for Happiness #3
... Love is not a matter of what's happening in our lives; it is a matter of what's happening in our hearts. Join Rev. Anne as she concludes our Sunday Message Series based on Three Prescriptions for Happiness by Ken Keyes, Jr. In this third prescription, you will learn how to turn up your love--even if you don't get what you want. Keyes reminds us that, although you will forget sometimes, this treatment is to be used liberally all the time! Archbishop Desmond Tutu describes Keyes' influence this way: "Ken Keyes teaches us how to be truly human through the power of unconditional love."

UNITY'S FIVE BASIC PRINCIPLES
There is only one Presence and one Power in the Universe and in my life, God the Good.
Human beings have a spark of divinity within them, the Christ spirit within. Their essence is of God, and therefore they are also inherently good.
Human beings create their experiences by the activity of their thinking. Everything in the manifest realm has its beginning in thought.
Prayer is creative thinking that heightens the connection with God Mind and therefore brings forth wisdom, healing, prosperity, and everything good.
Knowing and understanding the laws of life, also called Truth, are not enough. A person must live the truth he or she knows.
|
CORE VALUES
As expressions of Spirit, we embrace and reflect the Divine in all. Love is the nature of who we are.
We live from a conscious connection with Spirit. We affirm there is only one presence and one power, and we are expressions of it.
We lovingly embrace all people. We are One Loving Spirit.
We actively meet the needs of our community. We are expressions of Christ Consciousness.
INTEGRITY:
We consciously choose to practice transparency and authenticity in living our Core Values and Unity Principles. Spiritual integrity is seeking true alignment with our highest intentions, core values, and principles.
