A spiritual partnership is a partnership between equals for the purpose of spiritual growth. To understand this idea, we must recognize that personalities are not equal, but souls are. No one is more important than you, and also no one is less important than you. When we have superiority or inferiority issues in our lives, those ideas are based in fear. It is not possible to create a truly spiritual partnership when one of the partners is coming from a place of fear. In this way, the only way to have a spiritual relationship is to be truly equal. This equality arises from one’s sense of authentic power. It arises from the soul, rather than the self.

Enjoy the wisdom, piano music and songs by Houston Unity Minister, Rev. Michael Gott, as deepen your experience of the power within you. Connect with others and expand your understanding of New Thought teachings.

At our last Community Meeting it was suggested that before moving forward into what's next for us to do and be, we needed to do forgiveness work as a congregation. The Board agrees, and we have reached out to Rev Martha Creek, a well-known and respected minister, leader, coach, and consultant in the New Thought movement. The Board is scheduled to meet with Martha soon to finalize details around what will work best for our community and we will share the details as soon as we have them.
