I have been humbled by the generous hearts of our team & extended family here at Universal this Christmas. Our Support Team decided to adopt a family and when we reached out, Mom mentioned needing very little, only boots and coats for her kids. After considerable prodding she shared that what she really wanted for Christmas was
just for her kids to not have to sleep on the floor.
Every department swiftly leapt into action, I am so proud to say that we will provide this deserving family with four new beds, bedding, pillows, a refrigerator, snow boots, coats, clothes, Christmas dinner, toys to open on Christmas morning and so much more.
Many staffers have reached out to Mom privately to offer her furniture, a Christmas tree, and are working to ensure that she and her family have a safe water system in place.
More than ever this year, I know just how lucky I am to be in the company of these fine human beings. ~L. Anderson
