ISU remains focused on achieving long-term fiscal sustainability while advancing its mission and strategic goals. Our budget environment continues to evolve through the implementation of OAR and data-informed decision-making.
We began FY2026 with a balanced budget, recognizing that continued effort is needed to maintain this balance through revenue growth and operational efficiencies. Developments at the state level over the summer have created new headwinds for us in the form of an FY2026 budget holdback and FY2027 state-issued ongoing budget cut.
