University Libraries' Red and Blue Week: Engaging Students Through Innovative Events

Florida Atlantic University Libraries hosted three events to support a welcoming and engaging campus environment during the annual Red and Blue Week. Two hundred students joined the week-long Libraries Amazing Race scavenger hunt and the annual Open House was a great success. Read the full story here.  
Wimberly PAWS Are Back: Join us on October 10

Mark your calendars for three Wimberly PAWS (Pet Away Worry and Stress) events in the Wimberly Library lobby. Stop by to spend time with K9 Vallie, a therapy dog provided by FAU PD, and get tips on battling exam-related stress and anxiety from Owls Care services.

Interested in history? Stop by the Documents of Democracy: Founding a New Nation exhibit on the fifth floor of Wimberly Library. The exhibit is open Tuesday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and available until October 19.

The Jaffe Center for Book Arts presents Marginalia, Conversations from the Margins. The exhibit features works by Islam Aly, Julia Arredondo, John Ashbery, Ben Blount, John Eric Broaddus, and others, and is open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Writing Center at Jupiter Campus Library Elevates Student Success, One A+ Paper at a Time

The Writing Center at Jupiter Campus Library is a valuable resource for undergraduate students, FAU faculty, staff, and Ph.D. students alike. From class papers to honors theses and graduate school applications, the center helps students refine their writing skills and excel in their academic endeavors.
