At the request of our Youth Leadership Team, we're beginning a new series for the month of February where we cover the basic beliefs of Christianity. This week we're unpacking the concept of the Trinity. It is a tough one, for sure! How can God be three and one at the same time? While a simple, concrete explanation of the Trinity is as elusive as Bigfoot, even an elementary understanding of the three unique persons of the Trinity can grant your teens some additional insight into eh Scriptures as they read. They'll learn that even though we can't fully grasp the concept of the Trinity, that does not mean there is no evidence for it nor that we should not believe it. Be sure to ask your teen about where in the Bible God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit show up on the same scene (it only happens once!).

Unfortunately, we have decided that ASP would not be safe enough given the ongoing concerns of the pandemic, so we have cancelled our plans for Appalachia Service Project. Our Youth Ministry Team is investigating possibilities for hosting a missions week here in town, where students could engage in different volunteer opportunities every day for a week.
