COMMUNITY NEWS
TEXTBOOK RENTALS DUE: The Rowdy Campus Store is accepting textbook rental returns for the spring 2020 semester. Textbook rental returns are due Monday, May 18. Due to limited campus operations, textbook rentals should be returned using a prepaid FedEx shipping label. For best results when preparing your label, use the Chrome internet browser on your laptop or desktop. As a reminder, physical campus store locations are closed. For questions about rental returns, email utsa@bkstr.com.

LIBRARY RETURNS UPDATE: With the end of the spring semester, UTSA Libraries has created a system that allows people who’ve borrowed books and other items to safely return them to the John Peace Library on Main Campus. Return bins will be placed in the foyer of the second floor entrance, overlooking Sombrilla Plaza, for a final time this weekend from noon to 5 p.m., May 16–17. Since the library building will remain closed, if you have a borrowed laptop, someone from Tech Café will contact you with instructions about returning it.

UTSA DINING UPDATE: The Roadrunner Café will close for the summer beginning Saturday, May 16, and all campus dining locations will remain closed throughout the terms.

SPRING COMMENCEMENT PLANS: To ensure everyone’s well-being while honoring graduating students, the university will hold virtual Spring Commencement ceremonies the weekend of May 23–24. A plan is being developed for an in-person celebration to honor graduating students once large public gatherings are allowed. Check out the details on UTSA’s Commencement page.
