The American Diabetic Association estimates it costs you approximately $17,000 annually for medical care, where close to $10,000 is for diabetic care alone.

At Open Arms Free Clinic, Inc. over 200 patients are currently in our care with this same diagnosis (this is among the 1200 new patients who enrolled at OAFC just this year).
Each qualified patient receives free medical care with a licenses primary care provider, AND:
Free labs
Free insulin
Free foot and eye exams
Free diabetic supplies for home blood sugar monitoring
Free counseling with a certified diabetic educator

All with dignity and respect. All with compassion to reduce barriers. All at no financial cost to the patient who already struggles living in Walworth County within a household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

We can live the mission of Open Arms Free Clinic in Walworth County because of the community of supporters who believe in the impact of their financial gifts. Because of the self-less action of volunteers who donate their time. Because of the targeted relationships with private companies who donate their goods and services to maximize the impact!
