Mandatory New Member Orientation

Must be completed within 90 days of joining the Sussex County Association of REALTORS®; in order to maintain your membership. Held once per quarter on the 2nd Friday of the month every quarter from 8:30-3:30pm. Breakfast and lunch is provided.

Cost is FREE (New Members Only) 

Not a new member, but want to earn 3 CE credits??? Sign up for just the Code of Ethics training from 12:00-3:30.

Real Estate Taxes Part 1-EARN 1 CEU

Real Estate Taxes Part 1 (Earn 1CEU), presented by Brian Kordell of Cornerstone Mortgage, offers realtors a clear and practical introduction to the tax concepts that shape today’s real estate transactions. This session breaks down essential topics—including marginal tax brackets, the mortgage interest deduction, SALT deductions, qualified residences, acquisition indebtedness, and gift taxes—so agents can better understand the financial landscape their clients navigate. By strengthening their grasp of these fundamentals, realtors are able to provide more informed guidance, build deeper client trust, and support buyers and sellers on both the financial and emotional sides of the home‑buying journey.

Lunch and Learn-Beyond the Home Inspection: Ancillary Services for your Client

Did you know that Remedy Inspections offers so much more than just home inspection? At this Lunch and Learn we will discuss the other services that Remedy offers, focusing on their benefits and how they can help the agent and client get the most bang for their buck! Some of the services included will be radon testing, mold testing, advanced indoor air quality, lead-based paint testing, asbestos testing, sewer scopes and tank sweeps.
