Discover Your Future at the Georgia Transportation Summit

Explore career paths. Learn from industry professionals. Build connections that move you forward.

Your future in engineering and transportation starts with understanding what’s possible—and meeting the people who can help you get there. The Student Meet & Greet at the 2026 Georgia Transportation Summit gives college students an opportunity to connect classroom learning with the projects, people, and career paths shaping Georgia’s future.

Co-hosted by ACEC Georgia and the Georgia Department of Transportation, the Summit brings together more than 1,600 transportation leaders, elected officials, and industry professionals from across the state. This student-focused experience invites you into that conversation, with opportunities to ask questions, gain practical insight, and explore where your interests could take you.

Throughout the day, you’ll:

• Get oriented. Start with an informational session to learn what to expect and how to make the most of your Summit experience.
• Hear from people working in the industry. Join a panel discussion to explore career paths, hear professional perspectives, and ask questions about getting started.
• Strengthen your resume. Receive feedback during a resume review designed to help you better present your skills, experience, and potential.
• Expand your knowledge. Attend educational breakout sessions to learn about the work and ideas moving Georgia’s transportation industry forward.
• Make meaningful connections. Meet engineering employers and transportation professionals during the exhibit hall showcase and reception.

Whether you have a career path in mind or are still exploring your options, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the industry, practical guidance for your next steps, and connections beyond your campus.

Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your interest in what comes next. Join us and discover your place in Building Georgia Together.
