IDDSI Global is pleased to announce the IDDSI Academy Pilot course in the United Kingdom. This multidisciplinary pilot course consists of two parts: a mandatory online learning component (to be completed prior to in-person training) and a full day of in-person training on the IDDSI framework, testing methods, practical application, and hands-on practice with faculty feedback. The advanced training of the IDDSI Academy pilot will be exclusively conducted by IDDSI Global, with teaching materials provided by subject matter experts.

This official training has been specifically designed by the IDDSI Academy to elevate the knowledge and skills of participants with:

• Guidance from subject matter experts in how, what & why of the IDDSI framework, definitions and testing methods.
• Working with texture-modified foods and drinks
• Hands-on training offering complex problem-solving opportunities
• Networking and peer learning opportunities
• Coordinated learning & assessment on IDDSI testing for drinks and foods

Prerequisite:

Participants MUST complete a short online training course prior to attending the Academy pilot. Any registrant who does not complete the online training course will not be admitted to the Academy pilot course. No refunds will be provided. Information for how to complete the online training will be posted here - registrants should not expect to be notified via email of this prerequisite.
