Your continued partnership with Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority is appreciated. Changes within the Housing Choice Voucher Program are continuing to take place and we understand change is not always easy to accept. Therefore, I will be out in the community at local libraries to meet with property owners and managers to discuss the latest W-9 and inspection requirements. Additional topics will be covered. In addition, the Housing Choice Voucher Program wants you to have the tools needed to be successful in this partnership. Ask the Expert and CMHA U sessions are resources created for your benefit. It has come to our attention that some property owners have downloaded a Rent Cafe app from their device’s Play Store. This app will not allow you to access CMHA’s Yardi Rent Café. Access can only be obtained by using the web browser on your mobile device, computer or tablet. If you still need CMHA’s 1099 form for your taxes, remember the 2025 tax year 1099s are now available for download on the Rent Café Partner Portal. You will find a document for each entity that is currently under a HAP contract with Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority. Retrieving the document is easy, login to your portal account and then click on My Documents. If you do not see it at the top of the screen, simply select 1099 in the document type drop down box.
