Panel members at the Lancaster Growth Conference
The Lancaster Growth Conference took place on June 20th. During the conference, entrepreneurs learned about various topics that could help their business and take it to the next level. Speakers that were in attendance and presented included ASSETS, SBA, International Trade Administration, Truist, M&T Bank, Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Lancaster Gift Box. Topics that were covered included international trade, social media, finance, and more.

Nichole Mussa Sabil, ASSETS' Women's Business Center Manager, presented on behalf of ASSETS and shared with entrepreneurs and small business owners in attendance how ASSETS can assist them in their entrepreneurial journey with our Entrpreneur Training and Community Lending offerings.

Partner to Empower
Partner to Empower is a program dedicated to helping break down the systemic racial barriers that members of our communities face. They help business owners of color, including but not limited to Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, Asian, and Pacific Islander Americans, open brick-and-mortar stores in our malls by providing:

  • One-on-one business planning and guidance
  • Networking opportunities and resources
  • Funding dedicated to store construction expenses
  • A tailored, four-week Retail Workshop led by industry experts

Applications will open again in July.
