As the school year comes to a close, let’s remind students about the wonderful genomics careers awaiting them as they move forward! Celebrate DNA Day 2022 Now!
The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) leads the DNA Day celebrations every year on April 25. This year, three phenomenal webinars were held and are now available for viewing at your own convenience highlighting different topics in genomics. NHGRI celebrated DNA Day internationally by hosting webinars from NHGRI’s Human Heredity and Health in Africa (H3Africa) consortium researchers. In addition, NHGRI hosted the Louise M. Slaughter National DNA Day Lecture with Dr. Carter Clinton, a postdoctoral scholar at Penn State University. It’s not too late, so take a moment to celebrate DNA Day by viewing these wonderful webinars!
Coming in June - Healthcare Professionals' Genomics Education Week Social Media Campaign
The National Human Genome Research Institute and its partners are hosting the Healthcare Professionals’ Genomics Education Week, a social media campaign, from June 6 – June 10. This campaign will focus on healthcare professionals’ genomics education, including panel discussions, webinars, Twitter Chats and Q&As with professionals. Students and trainees interested in genomics are encouraged to participate. Follow @genome_gov on Twitter and Facebook to stay up-to-date about events. 
X-STEM All Access from the USA Science and Engineering Festival
X-STEM All Access is a free virtual conference series for middle and high schoolers designed to excite students about STEM. Students can learn about the personal journeys and exciting careers of STEM professionals. Episodes are available on demand now. Register to experience X-STEM All Access now!
