Application Open for the Inter-Society Coordinating Committee for Practitioner Education in Genomics Scholars Program
College/graduate/medical profession students or trainees with an interest in genomics and health care provider education, apply for this year’s Inter-Society Coordinating Committee for Practitioner Education in Genomics (ISCC-PEG) Scholars Program! The ISCC-PEG Scholars Program provides an opportunity for students/trainees to be mentored by a genomics expert in the health care provider field and to work together on a genomics-related education project. ISCC-PEG is a collaborative group aimed at improving healthcare provider genomics education. Currently, ISSC-PEG has over 180 members, which include societies, institutes, individuals and industry members. The committee is supported by the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI). The application deadline is Oct. 1.

Frontiers of Computing in Health and Society Virtual Conference

X-STEM All Access Online Experience for Students
X-STEM All Access is an entertaining, educational, and interactive online STEM experience for 6-12th graders. Through a series of daily livestream events, students will hear from an exclusive group of visionaries who aim to inspire kids about careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. Thinking About Becoming a Genetic Counselor? Don't Miss the Virtual Career Fair Profiling Genetic Counseling Programs Across North America
The second annual Genetic Counseling Virtual Career Fair is being hosted by the Western States Regional Genetic Network. The fair will be held on Sept. 28 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. PST / 12-4 p.m. EST, and Sept. 29 from 12-4 p.m. PST / 3-7 p.m. EST. More than 50 genetic counseling training programs and genetic counseling organizations across North America will be represented. The Minority Genetic Professionals Network and Disability GC Network will host exhibit rooms. Register now!
