May is Mental Health Awareness month. We all know that media habits impact our mental health, but we often don't take steps to keep our media engagement in a healthy zone individually, in family and community life, and beyond. We believe the media arts can be a creative force for good – or we wouldn't do this work – as long as we resist "overconsumption," make conscious choices, and use media tools ourselves creatively and intentionally.
