Alumni-Owned Business Spotlight— Eric Moore Ceramics
Eric Moore ’19 (Ceramics BFA)
Eric is currently working as a pottery manager at Miranda Thomas Pottery and takes a great amount of inspiration from the techniques that Miranda has learned and passed down from the famous English potter Michael Cardew. He wants to make work that holds both simplicity and elegance while maintaining functionality. To achieve this he creates simple forms with an emphasis on surface design, whether that is material understandings of wild clay slips and glazes, or traditional brush markings. Check it out!
