MICA's Natural Dye Initiative has secured grant funding to acquire a warehouse to grow and process indigo leaves and agricultural projects. The Baltimore Natural Dye initiative is a partnership with MICA that aims to explore the economic impacts of growing and using natural dyes in the region. Read more

John Hillding ‘68 (Rinehart School of Sculpture MFA) recently unveiled his Bacon and Eggs Skatepark in Wilkeson. Though several people in the neighborhood have already used the skatepark and are having a blast, John still has plans for what else to add to make this breakfast complete. Read more

Geoff Krist ‘22 (Rinehart School of Sculpture MFA) was engaged to sculpt new hands for a damaged statue of the Virgin Mary that stands in front of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Pen Lucy. The church also generously made a contribution to the Friends of Rinehart Fund at MICA to support future scholarships for students in the program. Read more
