January 2021
New Year's Greetings
Dear colleagues and friends,
The CHL team sends wishes for your health, wealth, and happiness in the new year. We know 2020 has been difficult and our hearts go out to all those affected by the pandemic. At CHL, we were fortunate to be able to transition to this new virtual reality and maintain very safe lab and field operations. We hope you were able to as well and encourage everyone to stay vigilant.

As engineers, environmental scientists, geologists, and scholars, your everyday work is important to the well-being of people and our planet. Thanks for keeping the water treated and turned on, for using innovative ways to solve environmental problems, for studying new and changing environmental conditions, for continuing to better understand and conserve water resources.
NEW WEBSITE, STUDENT GRANTS, UPCOMING WEBINARS
Though very different than any of us imagined, the CHL team has persevered along with you this past year. We continued consulting and laboratory services, maintained faculty and student research,  hosted our first international virtual conference, published papers, and lots of other fun stuff. Most recently, we have updated our website, www.dyetracing.com, and we hope you find the new site easier to navigate and loaded with up-to-date information. From safety data sheets to case study examples and shipping recommendations to relevant news and publications, our new site provides the information you need - FAQs, documentation, quotes, and reference for your clients and funding agencies. We are also glad to say that we are still offering the Customer Referral and Student Research Grant programs as well as groundwater tracing webinar series in May 2021. Registration information will be available soon.

As always, we appreciate your business and support. Warmest regards from the Crawford Hydrology Lab at Western Kentucky University.
2021 International Year of Caves and Karst

Caves and karst occur around our planet but few people understand the great value of caves to humanity. We invite you to learn from this website about how caves and karst challenge but mostly contribute to the lives of billions of people every day.

We hope you will then join us in this international year of celebration!
