Bon Voyage

Brothers and Sisters,

Well, we sent Marwen off today, with God's blessing, on his first leg of a long trip. He take a four hour boat to Cebu, then flies to Manila and has five more days of training. Then he is off to Dubai, though he wanted to go to Abudabi, because the people in Dubai don't like the Flintstones...but the people in Abudabi do! Sorry! I couldn't resist!

From Dubai he heads to Florida where he meets his ship. Marwen has worked hard for this, and it cost us a lot to make this happen, God is so very good!

Building Begins Again

The work on the house is progressing, one of the carpenters finally returned, so the roof is 3/4 complete. We are waiting more nipa (native roofing) to finish the roof, but in the mean time he will start on the exterior walls. The heavy rains have slowed things down tomorrow! I am almost finished with the stone retention wall and Lord willing, I will soon start on the septic tank, but first I am doing a project at the church, roof extension and sidewalk! The cost of everything is ever increasing, so we've made changes to keep things in budget but it's not enough! Please pray for ideas, deals and God's provision! He is, after all, our Provider! Those of who have been praying for the Jesus Film Kits... Over 1,000 people have viewed one or more of the films, and over 700 have put their trust in the only One Who died for our sins! Namely Jesus!
