The Medical Society's Philanthropic Mission supports medical education and wellness programming. Below are opportunities for your end-of-year giving that will support the current and future local medical community.

The NWMS endowment at WWU supports one pre-med student every year. This year Jack Mezzone is the scholarship recipient.

COMMUNITY

Dr. Marcy Hipskind presented her Whatcom Clubhouse project to the membership at the New Physician Reception on November 13, 2023.

Whatcom Clubhouse is a new resource to Whatcom County that assists in Mental Health Psychosocial Rehabilitation, regaining purpose, skills, and confidence through social, educational and employment opportunities. It helps empower individuals to achieve their goals at their own pace, in a safe environment, with dignity and supported by peers.
