Elyria Catholic High School is proud to announce the addition of the cutting-edge Anatomage Table to our science curriculum, made possible through the generosity of donors. The Anatomage Table, an advanced, interactive 3D anatomy visualization system, will be a game-changer for students as they explore and learn about the human body in unprecedented detail.
The Anatomage Table, widely used in medical schools and colleges, allows students to interact with full-body digital cadavers, exploring every structure, from muscles to nerves, in a real-time, hands-on environment. This technology will deepen students' understanding of anatomy and significantly enhance their preparation for future careers in health-related fields, instilling in them a sense of hope and readiness for the challenges ahead.
Elyria Catholic President Annie Heidersbach expressed her excitement about the addition, stating, "The Anatomage Table is a remarkable addition to our curriculum. It directly advances our five-year strategic plan to identify next-generation instructional technology and provide innovative learning tools that empower our students to explore their passions.”
The Anatomage Table will be featured at the Elyria Catholic Open House at 725 Gulf Road on Sunday, September 29, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. All are welcome, and attendees will have the opportunity to see the Anatomage Table in action.
“We are incredibly grateful to Mike '79 and Ginny Hoffman, Ridge Tool and Emerson, and Dick '74 and Cathy Dowdell who stepped forward to make this transformation possible,” President Heidersbach added. “Because of donor generosity, we will continue to provide a premier Catholic education that prepares students for the future.”
