This year, 55 Comal ISD seniors were recognized by the National College Board Recognition Programs as top academic performers. Among the 55 are four National Merit Semifinalists and 15 Commended Scholars. The Comal ISD Board of Trustees recognized their achievements virtually during its regularly scheduled meeting on Nov. 19. Congratulations!
CTE Focus on Business: Gaining Real-World Experience
The district's Career and Technical Education programs provide students with opportunities to discover their passions and turn those passions into careers. One of those programs, Business, Marketing and Finance, builds the skills of aspiring young entrepreneurs.

Johnson Ranch ES Team Wins
2020 District-wide Pentabowl
The fifth-grade team from Johnson Ranch ES solved more than 300 math problems to become the 2020 district Pentabowl champion. Each elementary campus competed in the annual competition virtually through Google Meet. Congratulations!
