All Creatures Great and Small

An Annual Summer Tradition

On Exhibition July 2-28, 2022

This popular competition show features animals of any size, color, or shape. Artists were asked to express themselves in a fun and creative way to show the essence of an animal they find interesting, in all mediums.

Read on to learn about All Creatures Great and Small, an art competition show that opens on July 2, and art classes and workshops that are coming up soon. Plus a great way to get involved at the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center and get a tax deduction!

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

Judged by Yvonne Bonacci

We are thankful to Yvonne Bonacci for judging this year's All Creatures Great and Small competition. Bonacci is known for horses and people in her own artwork. She loves to capture a moment in time through the use of light and color, and she has been teaching workshops in our community for over 25 years. Her award-winning artwork has been seen at the CA State Fair, Women Artists of the West, and in the Bold Brush International Show.

We will announce winners of 1st, 2nd, and Best of Show during the First Saturday opening reception on July 2 from 4-7PM at the Center. We look forward to seeing you there!
