March is Ceramics Month at the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center. Enjoy three exhibitions featuring local and national artists as we celebrate the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts regional event for 2022 (happening in galleries and museums across the Sacramento area). Read on to learn about Sgraffito Expressions, Gather, and Textology.

The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center recently held an art workshop involving “Sgraffito” techniques in clay. The students were from the EGACT, Elk Grove Adult Community Training (non-profit organization), that provides education and training for adults with development disabilities.

Their work will be on exhibition March 2-11 at the Center.

Join us for a First Saturday Reception on March 5, 4-7PM.

Gather and Textology will be on exhibition March 16-19, with a special event reception on March 17, 4:30-9:30pm at the Center.

This event is free and open to the public.
