This summer is going to be bananas — B-A-N-A-N-A-S — and we’re set to party all night at the Dodge Park Amphitheatre each night of Sterlingfest, July 23–25, starting at 7 p.m.


Get ready for powerhouse performances on the Main Stage, crowd-favorite hits and a summer soundtrack you won’t want to miss.


July 23

Pop Hits Live presents 24K Magic Kingdom, a tribute to Gwen Stefani (7 p.m.) and Bruno Mars (8 p.m.).


July 24

July 25

Spring is coming, and so is yard waste collection! Collection begins March 30.


Friendly reminder: Yard waste will be accepted only in paper yard waste bags, brown yard waste carts from Priority Waste, or dark green refuse carts from the previous waste management company marked with compost stickers on both sides.


Free yard waste stickers are available at the DPW facility (7200 18 Mile Road) and City Hall.

Sterling Heights is expanding its public art collection, and we want YOU to bring color and creativity to our new pickleball facility.


We’re seeking artists to submit designs for a large-scale, 185-foot by 20-foot outdoor mural that celebrates our community, landmarks and local pride. Artists are encouraged to draw inspiration from the popular “Greetings from…” style murals.


Submissions are due March 20!

Make sure your summer travel plans are passport-ready. The Sterling Heights City Clerk’s Office will host Passport Walk-In Week March 23–28. No appointment is required for this week only!


Stop by anytime during walk-in hours and staff will help you submit your application. Applicants should bring all required documentation, along with two checks or money orders for processing fees.

The City of Sterling Heights invites you to our 47th annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade on Monday, May 25. This year’s theme is “Remember the Past, Honor the Present: 250 Years of America.” Activities begin promptly at 9 a.m. in the City Center Courtyard between City Hall and the Police Department.


Following the ceremony, the parade will kick off at 10 a.m., traveling south on Dodge Park Road. Community groups, businesses and families are encouraged to get creative and submit a float this year. The best float will win $200, and the runner-up will receive $75.


Applications are due Monday, May 11!

A total of $23,000 will be awarded to college-bound high school seniors, vocational students and current college students from Sterling Heights and across Macomb County.


The application deadline is March 20!
