Celebrate our nation's birth and be reminded of what we stand for. Tune in to Facebook or attend in person on July 4th at 10:00 a.m. for a discussion of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms speech on the grounds of Dodona Manor. President Roosevelt proposed four freedoms that everyone is fundamentally entitled to: freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. This speech was the inspiration for the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights.
After the presentation, the grounds of Dodona Manor will be open until 1:00 p.m. for the public to view posters of Norman Rockwell's "Four Freedoms.
" Docents will be present to answer questions and discuss the posters with guests. We will practice social distancing.
We are now offering tours of Dodona Manor exclusively by appointment Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. You must prepurchase tickets online or by phone. There will be no walk-ins accepted at this phase of reopening.
