Ollie in his fortWithout the structure of a school day and regular contact with classmates, summer routines might seem a little uneventful. No one has every second of summer plotted out, and it's easy for kids to feel bored if they don't know what to do. This month, we're sharing some survival tips from Free Spirit authors to help families plan fun activities, set goals and schedules, and make sure that this summer vacation is the best ever for kids! We also have pointers for kids and families who are trying to cram too much into a short season. Don't forget--it's called summer "break" for a reason!
