We are bringing the beloved Dallas Children's Theater in a literacy-based production of "How I Became A Pirate" to the brand new beautiful Ent Center for the Arts at UCCS across from University Village on Nevada!   This will be an outstanding experience.  (Apologies for the delay on this announcement - their staff has been very busy.)

We are excited to have you bring your family to this state-of-the-art facility.   I toured it and every seat has a great view.   They are getting their ticket office ready so please reserve your seats via the link in this email and we will get details to you when their box office is ready.

We look forward to seeing you!                                                Join us at this new theater!

How I Became A Pirate

AARRRGH! Sail off on a swashbuckling musical excursion as young  Jeremy Jacobs joins Captain Braid Beardʼs band of comical pirates and  searches for the perfect spot to bury their treasure. Jeremy finds fun and  adventure on the high seas, but he soon learns that home and family are  treasures you can't find on any map!    Based on the popular book, the production includes terrific songs like "A  Good One to Boot", "I'm Really Just a Sensitive Guy", "Talk  Like a Pirate", "Soccer by the Rules", "Pirates Dot Arrgh", and more... Itʼs a  joyful musical that is sure to have young mateys singing and  dancing!    The magic of live theater is for all ages (but we recommend a minimum age of 3 years).  Regional schools will be bringing students to the school performances during the day.  The evening show is a special event for families.

Recognized by Time Magazine as one of the top 5 children's theater companies in the US, and the only one of that group to tour nationally, Dallas Children's Theater travels coast to coast with professional large-scale productions designed to stir the heart, stretch the mind and promote education.

Dallas Children's Theater has been designated an
