Impact of State Zoning Laws

Recent state laws let developers tear down the house right next door to you and build a multi-unit, multi-story building and you have no say in the matter. Under these new laws, developers are not required to conduct any environmental review, provide onsite parking, or build affordable housing. These laws give a blank check to developers that lets them do whatever they want in our neighborhoods without any local input.

The Our Neighborhood Voices (ONV) initiative is the strongest response we have to fight back against these overreaching state laws because it restores our ability to speak out and impact what is happening in our own communities. ONV has already organized nearly 50,000 Californians to join their coalition.

Cow Hollow Association Annual Meeting

The Cow Hollow Association's (CHA) mission is to preserve and enhance the residential character and quality of life of the Cow Hollow neighborhood. We strive to keep our members informed of local issues related to zoning, parking, traffic, Presidio, trash clean-ups, crime, safety, and other relevant topics. 

Our Annual Meeting speakers are uniquely qualified to discuss the Citywide issue of open-air drug markets that are exacerbating our homelessness crisis and the slow overriding of our local zoning laws that impact the character of our neighborhood. Join us and help CHA fulfill its mission.
