2026 UPCOMING EVENTS

Our upcoming virtual ASCO Symposium will occur on July 16th with our cochairs Dr. Edith A. Perez, Dr. Eric Schaefer, and Dr. Sujith Kalmadi highlighting key data presented at the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting in Chicago from May 29th - June 2nd. (This event is filled.)

May and June 2026 brought several major FDA approvals across breast cancer. In May, two approvals in early-stage breast cancer were granted for T-DXd (ENHERTU®) based on DESTINY-Breast11 and DESTINY-Breast05 along with one for Dato-DXd (Datroway®) in TROPION-Breast02 for TNBC. In June, HR+ HER2+ breast cancer saw the approval of the PATINA regimen, and two additional TNBC approvals for sacituzumab govitecan (Trodelvy®) in ASCENT-03 and the sacituzumab govitecan plus pembrolizumab (Keytruda®) combination in ASCENT-04. Together targeted therapies and antibody drug conjugates continue to redefine standards of care and bring new hope to patients.

We are looking forward to our Integrated Nursing and APP Symposium which will take place virtually on August 20th led by Dr. Edith A. Perez, and cochaired by Meredith Angele, PA (Advocate Health Care) and Zach Krueger, PA, MSPA (Northwest Cancer Centers). We will be sharing practice-changing data on novel treatments as well as guidance for management of related side effects, with particular focus on fatigue and mental health. Furthermore, we will be exploring the role of weight management and the increasing use of GLP-1s in cancer.
