COVID-19 Updates
The City of New York requirements regarding Safety Practices of Public-Facing Contracted Personnel During The COVID-19 Crisis have been updated. Effective February 10, 2023, contractors are no longer required to provide certifications, documentation, or any other proof of vaccination status. Any documentation uploaded and submitted in PASSPort prior to February 10, 2023, is to remain in PASSPort.
Further, effective March 27, 2023, contractors are only required to wear a face covering that covers their mouth and nose during days 6 to 10 after infection with COVID-19 upon returning to a work site where they can be expected to physically interact with City employees or members of the public in the course of performing work under the contract. Contractors should not return to the workplace within 5 days of infection.
The City encourages contractors to continue to take voluntary steps to keep their staff, and all New Yorkers safe.
