June 2023
You're receiving this as an owner or representative of a business that is one or the more of the following with Bike Fort Collins: a Business Member, a Business Partner, a General Sponsor, a Sponsor of one of our events, a Corporate Donor, or a Bicycle Friendly Business contact.

Regardless of which one or how many of the above categories you fall under, we are grateful for your support of and interest in our vision and mission, and thank you in advance for any continued support.

That said, we wanted to share the following upcoming opportunities we have for you to support and align your business with Bike Fort Collins and all the work we do in the community.
Upcoming Sponsorship Opportunities
Bike Prom - Saturday, July 15th
After a record-setting return of this event last year, with over 200 attendees, we have our sights set on an even be bigger and better event this year, targeting to host over 300 ticketed, bicycle-loving guests.

Join us this year as a sponsoring business for a festive evening where fun will be had by all at The Lyric Cinema, featuring to-be-announced live music artist, as well as DJ Specific Heat. Sponsor packages range from the ability to reach the 300+ guests day of the event, to being included on all promotional advertising (print, digital, posters, etc.) in advance of the event.

Special thanks to last year's sponsors: Brave New Wheel, Edge Optics, Tandem Real Estate, Trek, Bohemian Foundation, and The North Forty News as a media sponsor. While many of the above are returning, we'd love for you to join them.

Visit our event page and contact Dave Dixon at dave.dixon@bikefortcollins.org to discuss or for more specific information. Deadline for sponsor inclusion on event promotion materials is fast approaching (June 16).
Wish for Wheels FoCo - Fall 2023
2023 will mark our 4th year of Wish for Wheels FoCo. Introduced in 2020 during the pandemic as a means to help ensure kids stayed active during remote learning, Wish for Wheels FoCo was introduced with a goal to provide a bike and helmet to every second grader in Poudre School District's Title 1 schools.

We've delivered on this goal each of the past two years thanks to many individual donations and these corporate sponsors/donors: YGR, Velofix, VanMeveren Law Group, Waterpik, Neenan Archistruction, Platte River Power Authority, Scheels, Intel, New Belgium Brewing, Norris Design, Cushman & Wakfield, and All Med.
If you're with one of the above, we'll be in touch soon about renewing this year.

For anyone else who may be interested, please visit our program page, as well as these highlight pages from each of our previous years here: 2022, 2021, 2020, and contact Dave Dixon at dave.dixon@bikefortcollins.org to discuss or for more specific information.
Tour de Farms - Sunday, September 17th (Tentative)
2023 will mark the 6th Tour de Farms event for Bike Fort Collins. An annual fundraising bike ride, Tour de Farms is a fun and festive 30+ mile ride that begins and ends at a local brewery. It is guided and led by Bike Fort Collins representatives and features a combination of paved and gravel roads, along with 3-4 stops at local area farms. Each farm stop features light tastings and refreshments along with a few words from each farm owner/representative.

A special thanks to last year's sponsors: Hadfield Stieben & Doutt, Pedego Electric Bikes, Horse & Dragon Brewing, GoWest T-Shirt Company, Ent Credit Union, Joel Blocker Photography, OtterCares, and Fortified Collaborations. We'll be in touch soon with you all about renewing this year, and would love for others to join them.

This event has sold out each of the past two years (2021 and 2022) and is extremely well received by all who participate and attend. If interested, visit our event page and contact Dave Dixon at dave.dixon@bikefortcollins.org to discuss or for more specific information.
Bicycle Film Festival - Early November
We began planning to bring the Bicycle Film Festival to Fort Collins back in late 2019, prior to the pandemic. While we hosted it virtually in each, 2020 and 2021 (even using 2021 to launch our vision with the showing of Together We Cycle), this year will mark the first year where we're able to host it in-person.

We're still finalizing a date and location but are appreciative of Pedego Electric Bikes as our first confirmed sponsor of this year's event. As with the other events, we'd love to have more of you join them.

If interested, please contact Dave Dixon at dave.dixon@bikefortcollins.org to discuss or for more specific information.
In-Kind Donation Opportunities
Bike From Work Bash - Prize Drawing Items
Wednesday, June 28th
Two times each year--in the summer and winter--in conjunction with Bike to Work (Wherever) Day, we co-host the Bike From Work Bash at the end of the day with O'Dell Brewing Company. O'Dell generously provides everyone who arrives to the Bash by bike with a free beer and Bike Fort Collins provides everyone with one free entry to a drawing for prizes--and the option to purchase more. With anywhere from 500 to 1,000 in attendance, we conclude the event by announcing the dozen or more prizes and drawing all the winning numbers, where you must be present to win.

We are always looking for prize donations. Please contact Tim Wooten at tim.wooten@bikefortcollins.org if you would like to donate a prize.
Bike Prom - Silent Auction Items
Saturday, July 15th
During Bike Prom we hold a silent auction and are looking for 50+ silent auction items this year that attendees would love to bid on. With a target of nearly 400 attendees, this is a great opportunity to put your brand and a donated product in front of a bicycle loving group of people. If you have an item valued at $25 or more that you are interested in donating, complete the Silent Auction Form (see button). You can also contact Tim Wooten at tim.wooten@bikefortcollins.org with any questions.
Are You a Bicycle Friendly Business?
Fort Collins once held the distinction and honor of having the most official Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB) designations in the country through the League of American Bicyclists' Bicycle Friendly America program.

If you were one of those businesses, but your designation has lapsed, contact us, as we'd be happy to help you with your application renewal.

If you have never earned a BFB designation, but would like to, contact Tim Wooten at tim.wooten@bikefortcollins.org as well, and again we'd be happy to help.
Are You a Business Member?
Did you know we're a member-based organization? And while we are most grateful for any donations or sponsorship support, we invite you to click the button to learn more about member benefits, and consider becoming a business member (if you haven't already). Help us build strength in numbers!
Thank you again for your support!
