Greetings from

Long Beach CERT!

Dear Long Beach CERT Members,

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming CERT meeting on April 1st, 2025, where we’ll discuss a critical topic: Medical 1: How to Approach a Patient and Open an Airway!

Whether you're a seasoned CERT member or just getting started, this session promises to be both informative and hands-on, with a special focus on:

  • Approaching a conscious patient with care and confidence
  • Techniques for opening an airway in both conscious and unconscious patients
  • Practical tips and tricks to keep you calm and focused when it counts the most!

We know these skills are vital in an emergency, and we want to make learning them as fun and engaging as possible. Expect interactive demos, real-life scenarios, and plenty of opportunities to practice and ask questions.

Event Details:

  • Date: Tuesday, April 1st, 2025
  • Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Location: 3861 Worsham Ave

Remember: CERT training is about being prepared, capable, and ready to help when disaster strikes—and every skill you learn could make a difference.

We are thrilled to announce the latest graduates of our Long Beach CERT program! These dedicated individuals have demonstrated incredible commitment, learning essential skills to keep our community safe during emergencies. Let's give them a warm welcome to the CERT family.

To our current volunteers: Your continued efforts are invaluable, and we’d love your help spreading the word about our upcoming May class! It’s a fantastic opportunity for friends, neighbors, and colleagues to join this rewarding program and learn how to better prepare for and respond to emergencies.
