The need for medical students or those in training to connect and learn from experienced physicians is invaluable. And for mentors, the relationship is often described as a 'win-win'.

The CMA's Women in Medicine Committee has met and discussed a Mentorship Program developed to assist women in training to become physicians or currently in residency. The intention is to provide an informal mentor/mentee relationship that would involve approximately a monthly call/virtual meeting or in-person meeting.
