Latest Update from Our CEO
We thought we were running a 5k,
but it turns out it’s a marathon.
YAA Winter Virtual Recitals
Our Youth Arts Academy (YAA) hosted 6 recitals over 5 days with a total of 65 kids performing! More fun was added by hosting a Disney costume contest and a "Where's Waldo" type contest with Disney paraphernalia. Big thanks go out to Salt & Straw in One Paseo for donating ice cream coupons for all our contest winners.
Community and Businesses Rally Around Griset Clubhouse
It's times like these that highlight a community's true colors. The Encinitas community has showered our Griset Clubhouse with generosity and support since the stay at home order and we wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge them.

  • Griset Branch Board for the donation of arts & crafts and office supplies
  • Kohls for their donation of books and stuffed animals
  • Free Throwz for donating sports balls
  • Our wonderful community members for donating masks, hand sanitizer, arts & crafts, paper towels and so much more.
Chip-In For-Kids 2021
A Huge Success

Our 16th Annual Chip-In-For-Kids Golf Tournament on Sunday, Jan. 31st in cooperation with Farmers Insurance Open was a huge success, raising over $90,000.

Even in the midst of a pandemic, masks and an eerie silence as the pros teed off on the South Course with no fans, a feeling of freedom and jubilation reigned as participants soaked up the 70-degree weather, amazing ocean views, and a pristine course. Thanks to all our sponsors for their support and understanding of the need to keep our doors open for the youth and families who need us most.
Celebrating unity on
Martin Luther King Day.
Members from our Polster clubhouse worked on individual art projects which were then combined to make one final project to help them understand that despite our differences we can all work together to fulfill one common goal.
If the Shoe Fits....
Members of our La Colonia Clubhouse were pleasantly surprised to be able to pick out a new pair of shoes from a donation from one of our very own staff members!

HERE WE GROW AGAIN
We would like to recognize Rest Haven Children’s Health Fund for their generous contribution to our scholarship fund and for their efforts to support the healthy development of youth in our community. Organizations such as Rest Haven help us continue to serve our youth in need and do our part to help close the achievement gap.
We want to thank DPR Construction for their long-standing support for our cause. DPR helps us continue our scholarship fund, and they are also on the ground leading educational and career workshops for our youth, working alongside us to paint our clubhouses, and distributing toys during the holidays. We want to thank them for their active involvement in our organization and for demonstrating every level of philanthropism.
Thank You Jakes Del Mar
Thank you Duvinh Ta and the team from Jakes Del Mar for their generous donation of $3,000 to our La Colonia Clubhouse!
