Light Up The World Mitzvah Party
Presented by Project ARK (Acts of Random Kindness)

Get creative at our mitzvah stations!
Batshaw Youth and Family Centres; Montreal Children’s Hospital; Jewish General Hospital; Soroka Medical Center, Beersheba, Israel; Shaar Meals-on-Wheels; Place Kensington Seniors Residence; Atelier JEM Workshop; SPCA, and Kerry's Kitchen. Also featuring: S.T.E.A.M. activities; obstacle course; doughnut decorating; dreidel competition; toddler corner, and Chanukah snacks.

Westmount Community Candle Lighting

The City of Westmount, in collaboration with Congregation Shaar Hashomayim and Temple Emmanu-El-Beth Sholom, invite the community to celebrate the festival of lights. Everyone welcome! We will use the study of end-of-life narratives to glean insights into life itself. We will study from the Tanach, Talmud, and modern literature, to explore what these stories might teach us about the character, values, and lives of those we encounter. Free and open to all.
