Indulge in Delicious Chocolate Creations this Winter!

(Vail, Colo.) - Join the Vail Recreation District this winter for chocolate-making classes and learn how to create delectable sweets! Led by Felicia from Cornerstone Chocolates, each class will feature a unique chocolate dessert. The best part? You’ll get to enjoy your very own creation, just in time for Valentine’s Day! No culinary skills necessary, just an eagerness to engage in a new and enjoyable activity while sipping on a beverage!


"These chocolate workshops are the perfect social activity for a winter night," says Sara Eaton, Director of Community Programming. "Make it a date night, bring your friends and family, or come solo - you'll be in good hands with our expert instructor Felicia. Plus, when you're done, you leave with chocolate goodies - what's not to like?!"

Friday, January 26 | 6-8 p.m.

Chocolate-covered strawberries and Oreos, chocolate lollipops and chocolate-dipped pretzels


Friday, February 2 | 6-8 p.m.

Chocolate ganache fillings and a four-piece box of truffles

Molded heart chocolates

These fun and engaging classes take place at the Imagination Station, located above the Lionshead Welcome Center at the southwest corner of the Lionshead parking structure on level P2.


All materials are included. Snacks are provided and a cash bar with beer and wine is available. Space is limited and reservations are required; the cost is $60/person per class. These events are open to ages 16 and up; participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Sign up in advance at vailrec.com/register!
