Where You Live Matters: Community Checkup 2024

Webinar – 9 to 10 a.m. PST on Jan. 30, 2024

This event is free and open to all Alliance members and the public.

When it comes to receiving high-quality, affordable care in Washington state, where you live matters.

On Jan. 30, the Washington Health Alliance will release its 18th annual Community Checkup report, digging deeper into how the quality and cost of care varies by neighborhood. This year, the Alliance brings together reporting on the quality and cost of care to highlight clear inequities for our less advantaged communities.

New this year, our trusted quality reporting is matched with total cost of care in a blending tool that ranks medical groups and clinics.

As the Alliance and its membership continue to drive health care change in Washington state, we intend for this report to serve as the start of the conversation for 2024.

Executive Director Drew Oliveira MD, MHA, will lead a panel of experts in a discussion on how we can drive market change to address inequities and ensure all Washingtonians live healthy, productive lives.

Substance Use Disorder: Affordable Treatment on Your Employees’ Terms

Substance Use Disorder is a growing condition both within Washington State and across the country. However, the health care system has been struggling to meet the needs.

In Washington state, recent figures show roughly 6% of residents need treatment for alcohol abuse, and 3% need treatment for illicit drug abuse.

Earlier this month, the Alliance brought together to share how to remove barriers to care to ensure everyone has access to evidence-based, evidence-led substance use disorder treatment.
