Alternative Spring Break
Destinations:
8 cities within the US including D.C.
Program:
various centered around poverty relief, LGBTQ+ advocacy,
environment conservation, and racial justice
Required:
weekly meetings throughout the Spring 2019 semester
Dates:
March 10-March 16, 2019
Cost:
$100 including all expenses (financial assistance available)
Deadline:
September 21, 2018
Alternative Winter Break
Destinations:
Siem Reap, Cambodia or Bago, Myanmar
Program:
Habitat for Humanity International’s Global Village
Required:
enrollment in GVT 387/687 for Spring 2019 semester
Dates:
January 2-January 13, 2019
Cost:
~2,500 including all expenses (Financial assistance available)
Deadline:
September 21, 2018
