Study Scholarship for Architecture

Ever thought about pursuing a Master's degree in Architecture in Germany? The DAAD Study Scholarship for Architecture supports study projects in design and planning at a state-recognized German university of your choice. Submit your application to our office in Bonn, Germany by Sept 30th.  


Call for Applications
Study Foundation Grant for Young Scholars in Berlin

This scholarship supports students and young scholars of all fields who want to use research facilities in Berlin.The grants amount to 1,100 EUR for graduate and doctoral students and 1,630 EUR for post-doctoral scholars per month. Application deadline is December 15, 2017.

DAAD Undergraduate & Graduate Funding 2018/19

In this webinar, learn about DAAD funding available to undergraduates and graduates to study, intern and research in Germany in 2018/19. It will take place Sept 28th from 12:30-1:30 pm EDT. This webinar will be recorded. All registered attendees will receive a follow-up mail with the recording link and information on where to download the presentation.

Artist and DAAD Grant Winner
Joan Snitzer

An artist and Senior Lecturer in Art History and Director of the Visual Arts Program at Barnard College, Columbia University, Joan Snitzer has led several student groups on excursions to Germany with a DAAD Group Study Visit Grant. Her current exhibition 'Chromophore' is on view at the A.I.R. Gallery in Brooklyn, NY.

Times Higher Education World University Rankings

In Times Higher Educations' annual ranking of the 1,000 best universities worldwide, ten German universities made it into the top ten. Ranking criteria include the quality of teaching and research as well as the ratio of professors to students and the number of PhD candidates. Learn about German Parties

Tomorrow, on September 24th, Germany will hold its federal elections. Ever wondered which German party your values and positions would align with? The German Federal Agency for Civic Education created an easy-to-use quiz, the ' Wahl-o-mat '. Germany has 33 parties running for election, out of which 4-5 are generally able to take the 5% hurdle to enter parliament.

Oktoberfest in Munich

No. Our Study Scholarship is only awarded for a full academic year (10 months) at a time.
