On May 13th, Nassan, the inspiration for Nassan's Place attended his senior prom at NJ Regional Day School in Newark, NJ.
This was a very special day,
one that his mother, Nadine, president & founder of
Nassan's Place thought
might never be possible.

Nassan's Place held its "Annual Comedy for A Cause with Talent & Friends" on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
It was an amazing evening of Autism Awareness, great food, music, comedy and surprises.

Nassan’s Place held its "8th Annual Nassan 5K Walk for Autism" on Saturday, April 30,2022 at Elmwood Park in East Orange, NJ.
It was a great day of Autism Awareness, community unity, resources, giveaways, music, facepainting and more.

Autism Superstars Art Exhibit at the Newark Museum of Art

Nassan’s Place children and families enjoyed our monthly movie day at CityPlex12.
We also celebrated the birthday of our May autism superstars with cupcakes, pizza and juice after the movie.

"Saturday Inclusion Enrichment Program"
May - June 2022

Nassan’s Place provided 4 sessions of our "Saturday Inclusion Enrichment Program" for children on the autism spectrum and their siblings. Each week we were in the community at various locations including the Turtle Back Zoo, Newark Museum of Arts, CityPlex12 and the PaperMill Playhouse to watch Dogman, The Musical. |

Autism Friendly Summer Camp in conjunction with the City of Newark
July 5 - August 19, 2022

Nassan's Place in conjunction with the City of Newark for the second year will provide an "Autism Friendly Summer Camp for 7 weeks.
The camp will run from July 5th - August 19th and will include sensory friendly activities, reinforcement of math, literacy & science, swimming, arts & crafts, music, community outings, breakfast, lunch, snacks and more.

Join Nassan's Place as we partner with the Iotas, Tyre Lodge No.29 F&A.M.P.H.A, Quemmunity QUES and ChildrenSpecialized Hospital/SPARK for our annual "End of the School Year Barbecue" on Saturday, June 25th at Elmwood Park, East Orange.
It will be a day of autism awareness, community unity, music, food, facepainting, italian ices, resources, sensory friendly activities, giveaways and fun for the entire family.

Annual Pamper Me Day for Autism Dads

Nassan's Place will be hosting our "Annual Pamper Me Day for Autism Dads" on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at an outdoor villa in Livingston.
It will be a great day of some much-needed de-stress time for some ausome autism dads. The day will include facials, massages, lunch, music, giveaways and surprises.
