Baraka, will host a day of Autism Awareness, community unity, fun, resources, giveaways, sensory friendly activities, music and more at our "1st Annual Autism Awareness Day, Connecting the Pieces Together"

Nassan's Place collaborates with the
Newark Museum & The Montclair Garden Club

Through our collaboration we were able to provide a sensory friendly experience of creating a beautiful St. Patrick’s Day centerpiece.
Each of our attendees went home with their very own centerpieces made by them, they all had a great time.
They also had the opportunity to visit some of the museum’s fun activities and an interactive story in their planetarium, which was a huge hit with the kids.

Learn to Swim Program
for Children on the Autism Spectrum

City of Newark, Recreation Department is providing access to a "Learn to Swim Program" for Children on the Autism Spectrum.
The sessions will run from March 9th to May 25th at the John F. Kennedy Aquatic Center on Wednesday from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.
