Nassan's Place partnered with the Iotas, Tyre Lodge No.29 F&A.M.P.H.A, Quemmunity QUES and Children Specialized Hospital/SPARK for our annual "End of the School Year Barbecue".
It was a great day of Autism Awareness, family resources (SPARK/Children Specialized Hospital & PCE), community unity, music, food, facepainting, sensory friendly activities provided by Brick4Kidz & Kendra A. Bowman, M.S.CCC-SLP,TSSLD, giveaways and fun for the entire family.

City of Newark to provide a
7 Week Autism Friendly Summer Camp
July 5th - August 19th
Nassan's Place in conjunction with the City of Newark for the second year will provide a full day "Autism Friendly Summer Camp" for 7 weeks.

The camp will run from July 5th - August 19th and will include sensory friendly activities, reinforcement of math, literacy & science, swimming, arts & crafts, music, community outings, breakfast, lunch, snacks and more.

Nassan's Place, "2nd Annual Women Empowerment Luncheon for Autism Moms/Caregivers & Friends" was an unforgettable day of empowerment and inspiring stories and journeys from some Awesome Autism moms/Sheros.
We would like to thank our amazing guest host, speakers, and vendors who were are all autism moms.

Gives Back to Nassan's Place
Nassan’s Place would like to thank, Police Chief Ernesto Morillo, Officer Nick Lonero, the SOPD, The South Orange PBA, SOA Local 12, Village President Sheena C. Collum Jocelyn Cleary and everyone that supported their fundraising efforts of autism awareness special edition badges in April during Autism Awareness Month.
We were very grateful and thankful as they presented us with a donation of $2,442.00 from the proceeds of their autism awareness badges, on Tuesday,
July 6, 2022.

invited to be a part of the City of Newark,
Ribbon Cutting for their 1st Sensory Friendly Park
July 11, 2022
Mayor Ras J. Baraka, President of Nassan's Place, & dignitaries along with children on the Autism spectrum cut the ribbon to the renovated Ridgewood Park. The updated park provides new equipment for kids aged
2-12, as well as a section with sensory play equipment for children with Autism and special needs.

It’s that time of year again, Nassan’s Place annual, Saturday Inclusion Basketball Camp for children/adults on the Autism spectrum and their siblings.

de-stress/me time for moms, dads and caregivers.
