On Sunday, September 8, Iranian American women will gather in Costa Mesa, California for IAWF's 2013 Orange County Women's Leadership Conference. A variety of sessions are planned, including:
- "Social Status of Women in Iran Through the Ages," presented by the Farhang Foundation. IAWF thanks Farhang Foundation for its support and partnership.
- "Global Impact of Women," presented by the Persian Gender Network. Established by the World Bank, the Persian Gender Network is dedicated to the advancement of Persian-speaking women in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
- "The Many Faces of Iranian Women," exploring the challenges faced by women from the Baha'i, Zoroastrian, Muslim and Jewish faiths.
- Back by popular demand, "Lead Like a Woman" will feature powerful panelists talking about leadership and how we can lead our way to the top.
