We advocate for and support children, young adults, and families
impacted by abuse and neglect in Pinellas and Pasco Counties by collaborating
with community partners and the Guardian ad Litem staff and volunteers who support the children we serve.

We envision a community where every child and young adult is safe, secure and thriving. We believe every child deserves to have a permanent family and be well prepared for their future beyond foster care.
January 2019
From the Executive Director
Dear Supporters,

We cannot thank you enough for helping our children heal in 2018! Because of you, we were able to fulfill over 2600 requests (a 9% increase from 2017). The Guardian ad Litem Foundation of Tampa Bay is committed to ensuring children not only thrive while in care but are prepared for their future after leaving and you helped make that possible by referring more and more children for educational support. Our children’s biggest needs continue to be education and basic needs and last year we spent 119% more in this important area of strategic focus and received 53% more requests for support. We have exciting new scholarship opportunities to announce in 2019 and will soon be launching our summer enrichment support program so be sure to read below to stay informed as we announce these important initiatives. If you have ideas about how we can better support you or the youth you serve, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can contact Amy at amyf@galf6.org with ideas or call anytime at 727-464-6528. We cannot do it without you and we are so thankful for each of you who helped meet the growing needs in 2018!

In gratitude,
Amy
